The mission of MEDLIBRE is to advance image guided
surgery based on open source software development.
The open source Artma Virtual Patient framework provides
Real-time visualization of surgical instruments relative to
the patient’s anatomy by fusion of live endoscope or
microscope video with stereotactic medical imaging data
(augmented reality)
Real-time broadcast of intraoperative data via
telecommunication networks
Real-time intraoperative access to a second opinion via
interactive telecommunication from a remote expert

Biotelematics.
